Guild War: Non-Peaceful Conflict Mediation

Guild war is a combative means of conflict mediation. Developed to prevent matters being taken into the hands, the Guild Council came up with this competition to decide the victor through combat.
Both guild leaders must agree to have a war. This is to prevent ambush or abuse of the system by bigger guilds. Unless otherwise stated or there are reasons for retaliation, war has to be agreed by both parties. Up to 10 members can be chosen to participate in the competition. The competition is best 2 out of 3 bouts. Stakes, based on Empire Contracts or resources, are set before the match. The winner lays claim to the stakes.
Guilds can choose to do non-violent competition as well and can be agreed on before the war begins. Participants can choose on skill-based bouts like archery or stake their futures on a game of chance. All Guild Wars are conducted with a Council referee. Killing is prohibited unless both parties condone such acts.
Reasons for retaliation: If a guild has, without a shadow of doubt, committed a crime against another guild, they can be challenged through petition to the Guild Council instead. The Guild Council will weigh evidence
to validate the claim. This includes but is not limited to the following:
Killing a rival guild's members, theft of resources or contracts, and Eminent Domain
(Ooc: Note imm to contact Guild Council about potential guild wars before beginning the roleplay)
