Kedanna Rosewater is the Supreme Overgod and creator of Tirradyn along with Trellan. Though believed to have been a mortal at her birth in another realm, she created Tirradyn from pure emotion after becoming the goddess of the dead. Despite her divine portfolio, she exudes a child-like and playful nature, often described as meddlesome and chaotic. She holds deep affection for her creation and frequently involves herself in the affairs of mortals. Underestimate her at your own peril, for she possesses unmatched brilliance and should not be provoked. She can be kind and loving or harsh when crossed.
Origin:
The youngest child of Algarath and Miraelle Thornbrush, Kedanna had her powers sealed by Miraelleand was sent to live among mortal to keep her away from Algarath. She was raised as a slave with the belief that she was the unwanted child of a prostitute and drunkard. The mistreatment by her elven masters couldn't dull her spirit, along with six other slaves she fought back and escaped into the wild. There they built an army of escaped slaves. Outcasts and those that believed no one should be enslaved came together under her leadership. After a few key victories she was betrayed and captured. Beaten and nailed to a cross, she was left for dead. Her rage and pain was so powerful it caught the attention of the Goddess Ariana. At the moment of death, her mother's seal broke. She awoke to her true power with the knowledge of who she was and became a goddess of death and the afterlife, her creation power twisted by her suffering and unreasonable death. Her revenge was swift and the realm burnt.
Kedanna and Ariana Rosewater soon married. Over time her hurt and rage grew and Ariana could only calm them for so long. The rage touched her innate power of creation which she inherited from her mother, and, in a fit of uncontrolled power, Kedanna destroyed her home realm and escaped into the void. In the void, her powers coalesced and solidified into their true form- not death, but creation. In a scream of triumph and power, she wailed and screamed her power into the void where Trellan and other Gods sat, watching. Trellan helped to put for to the chaos of her creation, aiding her in creating a new realm that contains the Tirradyn system. Such creation took its toll on the young goddess and she fell into a deep slumber under the watch of Ariana for eons. When she woke up from her slumber, she was not alone in Tirradyn with the other Gods there, watching over it now, including those who had occupied the part of the void she entered. As time passed she grew and calmed, losing her rage and hate she calmed love and peace. At her core she is chaos and a fierce protector of her realm.
