Mage Elements

Tirradyn mages now possess a stat called mage elements. Mage elements will add additional damage to combat spells, and later will effect other spells in different ways. The eight elements are air, earth, fire, water, death, shadow, soul, and void. Mage elements will go up as you use spells that rely on those elements, for instance acid based attack spells rely on the elements fire and water, and so acid based spells will raise those elements. Lightning based spells will raise both fire and air. You will need to experiment with your spells to learn which spells belong to which elements. Mage elements will go down over time if you do not use the spells for those elements. For instance, if you cast no fire based spells within three ooc days, your fire element will go down one point. Every time you use a spell, the timers for the elements of that spell are reset and you needn't worry about them going down again for another three days. The higher your element stats are, the more damage the spells relying on that element will be, but if a spell uses more than one element, the code will take an average of the elements used and modify the damage by that amount, for instance if a spell uses air, shadow, and void then the code will average out those three from your element stat values and use that number for the calculations. NOTE:x If you're a mage, and you don't see them on your score sheet, you may need to toggle that section on by typing 'score toggle elements'.
