Note Boards

The notes on this mud replace the bulletin boards and mail systems found on various other muds. There are a number note categories, or boards, available
to players that you can read and/or post to. These include notes, ideas,
changes, and news. You can only post to notes and ideas though. Posting to
changes and news are reserved for immortals.
When you log in, you will be informed that you have messages for you on the
different boards. To check this at any time after log in, type unread to
see what messages you have waiting. To read the next message on any
particular board, just type the name of the board that the message appears on; i.e. to read the next note, type: note.

From here on out, note will be used interchangeably with other boards. Just
replace "note" with "idea", etc.
NEWS notes are required reading and are used by Imms to announce any new information regarding the mud or to advise on important matters.
CHANGE notes are also required reading and are used by Imms to announce any changes in code, rules, or anything else in the mud.
NOTEs are used to share or seek information or to advise of things. It can
be anything for the most part, though we ask if it's just random miscellaneous things, please use the MISC note board to keep from spamming the NOTE board. The NOTE board is considered OOC.
BULLETIN notes are IC 'bulletins' that can be sent to give notice of things saught or needed from items to jobs to bounties and anything else imaginable. The BULLETIN board is considered IC.
ROLEPLAY notes are used to share IC histories or actions to tell a story or just for entertainment. They can be read in an OOC aspect just for enjoyment or can tell an IC story that others can learn of through the roleplay (RP) note. The ROLEPLAY board is considered IC.
RPGLOBAL notes are used in the same way as Roleplay notes, but are done on a Global RP scale. Global RPs are RPs typically ran by an Immortal to promote/ceate RP on a global scale that can affect all players or the world itself of Tirradyn. The ROLEPLAY board is considered IC.
IDEA notes are OOC notes to offer suggestions of ideas to better the mud, be it regarding code, commands, or things a player thinks we need in TG, or things we might not need. It can be anything, so long as it's an idea. The IDEA board is considered OOC.
MISC notes are anything and everything in between. The MISC board is considered OOC. To view this board in the note display, type showmisc.
If you would like to mark ALL boards as read, type allcatchup. Please note, that all NEWs notes and CHANGE notes are required reading and will not be marked read with this command.
