The PBC is a group of mortals that meet and discuss various topics as needed. Be it issues with the mud, the staff, on going RPs, RPs they'd like to see, etc. Think of them sort of like the middle man between staff and non-pbc members.
With being a member of the PBC, you have the perk of becoming a Noble. A Noble is a player that has the opportunity to help promote RP through the mud and will also be permitted the permanent DM ability to use to do so. You will also be able to create 1 new character to be set to a changeling race codewise. OOCly this char will not count to your 15 alt-limit, but it is also ONLY to be used when promoting RP for global actions and activities, be it your own or another Noble's global. IC wise, you will be able to have shapeshifts to change into anything needed to do so, except for what is refrenced in help global-rps. Nobles are also able to speak with each other and to other players anonymously with certain Noble commands. In addition, you will also be able to award RPXP to other players for exceptional RP. Below are the takes and rules for PBC/Nobles. These are subject to change as needed.
1) Everything discussed in any meeting, be it one on one with a player or all on the PBC together, as well as everything voted on is to be logged and sent to Immortals without being cleaned up in any way. Everything is to be done on MUD only. Discord and any other off mud communications of PBC is only to be done with the PBC group set up by staff and is not used for meeting conversations. It is only to remind of meetings and list topics so people can think on the subject prior to the meeting that takes place on TG in the PBC Meeting Room.
2) The tasks for a Noble can be summarized as this: Aiding others who request it, in their lines, rping mobs (that are not under imm control, like rulers, dragons, so on: help global-rp. If you are unsure, ask.) Monitoring rp fights/spars and acting as DM as needed, however, OOCly a noble can't be a part of fight and monitor it. Though not a requiremet, it is hoped and promoted for Nobles to come up with their own lines, whether it be a small or large scale global and running them. Using their alts and/or changeling character to help steer the lines that they run by pointing the players to other players or mobs that could help them with what they need. That said, if using your regular characters, be mindful not to cross RP/multilog. Players may also request that a noble not be involved in the rp line. help multilog.
3) Act as a third party to players with issues with staff. Try to mitigate when a player might have issues with staff, be it one member or all, to try and find middle ground.
4) Handle minor player vs player issues amongst themselves. Player A has an issue with Player B. Determine what the issue is, discuss, resolve. Staff can still be involved in this if requested by PBC or one of the players.
5) Ability to come to staff to discuss issues on an equal/neutral ground. To discuss issues, no matter what that issue is. To determine how to do things in a better way, where/if needed.
6) To work together as a group, just like staff does. Discussing anything that needs discussed and coming together as a group to vote on what changes/requirements they think might be good for TG to better it, and presenting such to staff.
7) If one of the PBC's Alts are involved in a dispute of any kind, that PBC Noble cannot be involved in the meeting about the circumstances or be part of the Vote that takes place regarding the issue at hand. If a tie break is needed in any votes in such instances, staff will have one vote to do so as a whole.
8) If 50% of the PBC agrees that a Noble member of the PBC is getting in the way more than helping. That is to be sent up to the Staff for discussion of impeachment of the PBC Noble in question. The deciding ruling to be made by Staff with input from the PBC.
9) The PBC is a responsibility and needs to be treated as such. Therefore if one of the members Quit the MUD or PBC, they do NOT get to join the PBC again. Now if the member has a legit reason for taking time off the MUD, that is a different matter.
Notice must be given to Staff in order for time off to be taken. The requested time, will most likely be allotted and approved by Staff.
10) Those chosen to be part of the PBC/Noble will be given the choice of which Alt will be used for PBC purposes, only ONE alt will be allowed, so make certain it is the one you want to use from the start.
11) The PBC will be held responsible for all of their actions and if they have been found guilty of misusing their power through said actions, then they will be stripped of their ability, lose Noble commands and banned for a week.
12) The PBC will always be required to be an odd number of people to so there will not be any voting issues. If a PBC player steps down or is removed, the PBC can then discuss and vote on a new player to become a member of the PBC and a PBC Noble. There can be more than 5 nobles, but we prefer there not be over 7 as that leads to too many cooks in the kitchen.
13) If you have your own issues/problems with another member of the PBC, then we expect you to be above such. As members of the PBC and as a Noble you will be held to a higher standard as it is your job to deal with players to aid them in such cases of player issues. If you have your own issues amongst yourselves, then there is already a failure in what the purpose of the PBC is. That said, we don't expect things to just be all sunshine and rainbows instantly. We hope you either work it out amongst yoursleves or put issues behind you and carry on regardless in a professional manner.

All of these terms and conditions must be met and agreed upon by those who will partake of being on the PBC. The rules will stick and will be abided by those on PBC or the player will be stripped of all commands and abilities and forbidden to be part of the PBC in the future. That said, as a group, the PBC can discuss these rules and if changes are saught, such can be discussed with staff to determine if such is agreeable. You can also add rules that the PBC decide on together as well, if desired.
