Please read this helpfile in its entirety if you wish to take part in the Auction for Player Keeps.
For the Auction dates of Keeps, Ships and Shops, we will be shooting for Sunday, June 5th and Wednsday, June 8th at 1pm Pacific, 2pm Mountain, 3pm Central, 4pm Eastern. We will have weekday and weekend scheduled days with the locations split up so that most everyone can have a fair chance to bid. In addition, as we wish players to be able to properly save up and look over the locations, we wish to give ample time to do so, hence the time being a month+ out. That said, real life happens, so this date may change. Staff will attempt to warn as far in advance as possible if it does change.
Please look over the finished or partially built locations prior to the auction. Once auctioning begins you will not have the chance to look. Ship and Shop info can be found in help deed-ship-auction, help deed-shop-auction. They will be auctioned the same day as above.
There will be auctions of the below PLAYER KEEPS.
1 finished 50 vnum keep. (Location K-1)
2 blank/unbuilt 50 vnum keeps. (Locations K-2 and K-3)
To view the finished or partially built locations, please go WEST of Dragondale Square and type enter portal, then go up. This will take you to an area that has been set up to allow you to view the partially built and finished locations.
To the West you will find the Finished 50 vnum Keep, Location K-1.
How to Bid:
You will be able to bid during the scheduled auction either publicly (via correction in the room) or silently (via think in the room) or with an absentee bid (via immrequest) that was turned in prior to the auction date. If you wish to bid via absentee bid, please send an immrequest to imm. The information to include can be found in help absentee-bid.
As there are only 2 keeps up for grabs, they will be seperated into bidding categories as shown below. If you already own a keep or a deed to a keep, you may not bid. You may not purchase more than one at auction.
KEEPS:
The FINISHED Keep will require players with over 10 houses to OWN a MINIMUM of 15 DTs, 15,000 Talents and 30,000 QP to bid. The Minimum BID for this keep will be 10 DTs + 10,000 talents + 15,000 QP. Yes, all 3 will be used to purchase this deed and will be required to be on the PC doing the bidding. (Location K-1)
The BLANK Keeps will require players with less than 10 houses to OWN a MINIMUM of 8 DTs, 8,000 Talents and 15,000 QP to bid. The Minimum BID for this keep will start at 5 DTs + 5,000 Talents + 10,000 QP. Yes, all 3 will be used to purchase this deed and will be required to be on the PC doing the bidding. (Locations K-2 and K-3)
