Please read this helpfile in its entirety if you wish to take part in the Auction for Player Keeps, Ships, and Shops.
For the Auction dates of Keeps, Ships and Shops, we will be shooting for Sunday, June 5th and Wednsday, June 8th at 1pm Pacific, 2pm Mountain, 3pm Central, 4pm Eastern. We will have weekday and weekend scheduled days with the locations split up so that most everyone can have a fair chance to bid. In addition, as we wish players to be able to properly save up and look over the locations, we wish to give ample time to do so, hence the time being a month+ out. That said, real life happens, so this date may change. Staff will attempt to warn as far in advance as possible if it does change.
Please look over the finished or partially built locations prior to the auction. Once auctioning begins you will not have the chance to look. Keep info can be found in help deed-keep-auction. They will be auctioned the same day as above.
There will be auctions of the below PLAYER SHIPS AND SHOPS.
4 blank/unbuilt 5 vnum ships. (Locations I-1, I-2, I-3, I-4)
2 finished 2 vnum shops. (Locations S-1 and S-2)
1 partially built 2 vnum shop. (Location S-3)
4 blank/unbuilt 2 vnum shops. (Locations S-4, S-5, S-6, S-7)
To view the finished or partially built locations, please go WEST of Dragondale Square and type enter portal, then go up. This will take you to an area that has been set up to allow you to view the partially built and finished locations.
To the East you will find 2 Finished Shops and 1 Partially Finished Shop.
How to Bid:
You will be able to bid during the scheduled auction either publicly (via correction in the room) or silently (via think in the room) or with an absentee bid (via immrequest) that was turned in prior to the auction date. If you wish to bid via absentee bid, please send an immrequest to imm. The information to include can be found in help absentee-bid.
SHIPS:
As there are only 4 ships up for grabs, these too will be seperated into bidding categories as shown below. If you already own a ship or deed for a shop, you may not bid. You may not purchase more than 1 at auction.
2 ships will require players to OWN a MINIMUM of 8 DTs, 12,000 Talents and 14,000 QP to bid. The Minimum BID for each ship will be 6 DTs + 10,000 Talents + 12,000 QP. Yes, all 3 will be used to purchase this deed and will be required to be on the PC doing the bidding. (Locations I-1 and I-2)
1 ship will require players to OWN a MINIMUM of 6 DTs, 8,000 Talents and 10,000 QP to bid. The Minimum BID for this ship will be 5 DTs + 6,000 Talents + 8,000 QP to bid. Yes, all 3 will be used to purchase this deed and will be required to be on the PC doing the bidding. (Location I-3)
1 ship will requires players to OWN a MINIMUM of 5 DTs, 6,000 Talents and 8,000 QP to bid. The Minimum BID for this ship will be 4 DTs + 4,000 Talents + 6,000 QP to bid. Yes, all 3 will be used to purchase this deed and will be required to be on the PC doing the bidding. (Location I-4)
SHOPS:
As there are only 7 shops up for grabs, these too will be seperated into bidding categories as shown below. If you already own a shop or deed for a shop, you may not bid. You may not purchase more than 1 at auction.
2 shops will require players to OWN a MINIMUM of 8 DTs, 10,000 Talents and 10,000 QP to bid. The Minimum BID will be 6 DTs + 8,000 Talents + 8,000 QP to bid. Yes, all 3 will be used to purchase each deed and will be required on the PD doing the bidding. (Locations S-1 and S-3 and potentially location S-2, if purchased seperately. See last paragraph below.)
2 BLANK shops will require players to OWN a MINIMUM of 6 DTs, 8,000 Talents and 8000 QP to bid. The minimum BID will be 5 DTs + 7,000 Talents + 7,000 QP to bid. Yes, all 3 will be used to purchase each deed and will be required on the PD doing the bidding. S-5 is also required for the bidder to have played TG for less than 3 RL years. (Location S-4 and S-5)
1 BLANK shop will require players to OWN a MINIMUM of 4 DTs, 6,000 Talents and 6,000 QP to bid. The Minimum BID will be 3 DTs + 4,000 Talents + 4,000 QP to bid. Yes, all 3 will be used to purchase each deed and will be required on the PD doing the bidding. S-6 is also required for the bidder to have played TG for less than 2 RL years. (Location S-6)
1 BLANK shop will require players to OWN a MINIMUM of 2 DTs, 6,000 Talents and 6,000 QP to bid. The Minimum BID will be 2 DTs + 4,000 Talents + 4,000 QP to bid. Yes, all 3 will be used to purchase each deed and will be required on the PD doing the bidding. S-7 is also required for the bidder to have played TG for less than 1 RL years. (Location S-7)
The COMBO shop/player house (Location S-2) IF purchased with the finished 20 vnum player house (Location F-4) will require players to OWN a MINIMUM of 10 DTs, 18,000 Talents and 18,000 QP to bid. The Minimum BID will be 8 DTs + 18,000 Talents + 18,000 QP to bid for the locations to be purchased together. Yes, all 3 will be used to purchase each deed and will be required on the PD doing the bidding.
If the locations are not purchased together, the FINISHED player house will bid seperately and the FINISHED SHOP will be included in the same requirements as Locations S-1 and S-3.
