Rules for the Special Area Player Housing

The Special Area Housing is a selection of houses that can be accessed via RP and Globals. They will typically follow a theme that must be kept to in the construction of them once purchased. To keep things fair so many can have access to these Special Houses, they will have limitations in purchase as well as building as instructed below.
1) You may only purchase one of these houses if when you type HOUSES you have less than 5 TOTAL OWNED houses. If the house belongs to someone else, it does not count in this. This includes ALL of the owned houses on the alt you are wanting to purchase on, not just special themed houses.
2) You may only purchase ONE house from the global area the houses are provided from.
3) You may only purchase one house from ONE alt. If on the last day the area is open to the public there are still several available, the Special Area Player Housing will be made available for ONE other alt, but the other rules must still apply.
4) The entrances/exists of the four rooms can be changed when you begin construction via houseedit. They were mapped going up just to save space for mapping purposes.
5) When building the house, the theme for the Special House purchased must be kept. An explaination of themes will follow below.
6) As with all housing, RP cannot occur in these locations until they are completed, placed in the world where they are meant to be, and approved by staff. That said, if you want to spend a couple of minutes in the house and tell your friends ICly I just bought a super weird gingerbread house to live in then escort them out, that is okay. The main goal is to not linger in them and RP until they are properly approved.
** THEMES **
Christmas Area:
Gingerbread Houses - There will be 4 rooms purchasable for a Gingerbread themed house. It will still have to follow medieval time standards, but is to be made out of edible food materials. IE: Gingerbread (duh), gumdrops, icing, chocolates, mom's sperghetti, chicken legs. Ya know, food. These houses will be considered to be of a special magic that will be introduced via a global. Once the global is over, the purchased houses will magically poof from the area to a place of the owners selection upon the continent of Tirradyn, so long as there is no reason it can't be placed there ICly or OOCly. The houses are edible, and at midnight each IC night, the magic activates and anything nibbled on will restore to its full structure. Inviting One over may sound like a unique challenge though, so it's up to you if you live that dangerously or not. These are meant to be fun, vibrant and creative homes to RP in. So have fun with them! In the future, other themes/areas will be provided with RP/Globals.
