Ursa are a relatively peaceful species, and very few races rub them the wrong way enough to motivate them to war. They generally try to get along with everyone they can.
The protective instinct Ursa possess goes being smaller than them, not only children, but to races such as the Halflings and Gnomes as well. Goblins are an exception to this rule, strangely enough.
Ursa generally get along well with other animalish races, such as the Mrem, Rawulfs, Lizardmen, and Vesrine. Since many of these also acknowledge nature, they can find common ground.
Elves are also viewed rather favorably, as Elves quite often also have a strong connection with the natural forces of the world. Ursa view them, and the Faerie folk, and strange, almost magical beings that should be respected.
If any race angers an Ursa, it is a Troll. The giant beings hold little care for the ramifications of their actions, especially when nature is involved, and the two have never seen eye to eye. While an Ursa is still slow to anger, he or she would also not mourn the death of a Troll, as quite often the later attacks the former.
