Keywords: WANDS, STAVES, PILLS, -SCROLLS, POTIONS
Magical items require training to use properly. If your character lacks the necessary skill to use an item, you may fail when you try, possibly destroying it. The item skills are as follows:

scrolls - The reading of magical scrolls, tomes and books.
staves - The use of staves and similar devices.
wands - The use of wands and similar items.
potion - The drinking or quaffing of a potion in combat.
pill - Eating an magical or alchemical pill.

Attack Scrolls, Wands and Staves: When utilizing scrolls, wands and staves in rp combat for attack, a 1d20 roll will be made to ensure there is no critical fail on AoE spells. All other spells on scrolls, spells and staves that are NOT AoE will require a 1d20 + spellhit roll to ensure that the spell manages to beat the creatures AC. Spells Activated via Scroll do not have Spell Damroll applied when cast.

Scrolls are Limited to 1 use in RP-Combat and are considered to only have 1 spell.
Wands and Staves are limited to 3 charges in RP combat and are considered to only have 1 spell.

Pills and Potions: When Eaten or Quaffed during combat, the item is considered consumed. The user must roll a 1d20 to ensure the pill or potion is still active. On a 1, the item is ineffective. Each item only has the FIRST SPELL listed. Once a player has consumed more than 3 potions in a IC Day, they must roll a d100. On a roll of 1-10, they are considered Potion Sick and they will be considered DRUNK per rp-conditions.

Healing Wands, Scrolls, Staves and Potions: These items each heal 8HP. A 1d20 roll will be made to ensure there is no critical fail. Scrolls and Potions are considered single use. Wands and Staves have 3 charges each. Wands are single target and Staves are AOE.
