Wrath

Keywords: WRATH, WRATH-RELIGION
Overview: Born out of hatred, fear or necessity, the faith simply known as "Wrath" adheres to the ethos of "might makes right", or rather "survival of the fittest" in the more literal sense. There is no ethos nor creed they adhere to save for one: All will eventually be led to ruin, and by some grace perhaps they will be remembered by the only god that will remain when the lord of oblivion has his way. This 'faith' doesn't exactly have an official name, nor does anyone a part of this sect coordinate with one another unless utterly and completely ordered to by the god known as Algarath. They do not serve loyally nor out of devotion to the wrathful god; but simply out of rage, hate, fear or necessity. Compelled by the utter sensation of obtaining what they consider the ultimate facet of power, they vie for their Lord's favor. Be it to gain power over others or simply out of fear to not be one of the first to die, they all bend the knee to Algarath. They believe in no faith, they adhere to no law, they care little for any other living being. Those that devote themselves to the path and 'faith' of Wrath do so for their own, selfish means. A means that will eventually see all of Creation led to the ruin of Oblivion. Their motives and motivations are their own. They serve not out of loyalty nor adherence to some law that binds them. All they know is the zealotry of wrath itself. Zealotry to the Lord of Oblivion: Algarath.

Lore: Born of rage, hate and Algarath's power, they became more known when Algarath was freed from Void Breaker. The Sword was in the hand of King Balmorral and shattered by Larun. She was known for her hate and rage and Algarath, now free, took control of her through the shard of the sword embedded in her. She was born and one with hate, wanting only to see the end of the Gods and Ikon who had spurned her. All followers of Algarath share this rage, hate, fear and Wrath. In this way, perhaps, they may yet exist after the end of time itself. The lore of this religion itself is scattered and vague for the sole purpose that it adheres only to their one god they see above all else. They came into fruition when the first mortal drew breath, felt fear, and desire for death. This overwhelming fear, desire, or sheer hatred for life itself bred the individuals that are simply known as Wrath. The name wasn't given by themselves, but rather by those that they encounter. For there is no remorse, no love, no compassion, no humility, nor any arrogance within them. All that exists within them is the sheer hatred for everything else not them. In short: Wrath.

Known Alliances: They are an enemy to every known Empire, Race, Religion, and Organization that exists.

How to Join: Typically, to gain the recognition of Algarath is simply to commit great acts of violence and/or strength. Show that you are worth of recognition while being unafraid of his attention. To stare oblivion in the face and serve is a strength seen in and of itself.
