Syntax: whodisplay available
There is a whodisplay option called 'available'. You can toggle this on or off by using the above syntax.
When toggled on, the [brackets] around your level on the who list will turn bright green instead of the dark green they normally are. This indicates that you are available for relationship roleplay and/or srp (not necessarily both, but it will reflect to other players that you are accepting of being approached for flirtatious RP.
Targeting someone that is not flagged as available for such RP is against the rules and is flagged as a Tier 2 Rule. If you are reported for making unwanted advances on someone who does not have bright green brackets around their level on the who list then you will face the consequences for it.
If you are willing to undertake relationships, or sexual roleplay, but do not wish to advertise this, you may leave it off, and then privately tell someone OOCly you wish to do such roleplay with that you are interested.
IF YOU ARE NOT TOLD DIRECTLY, and instead hear that they are interested from someone else, and hit on them while their brackets are not bright green, this is a violation.
IF YOU WITNESS TWO PEOPLE WANDERING OFF TOGETHER, or see some other interaction that causes you to assume they're sleeping together ICly and you take this as tacit permission that you too can hit on them while they do not have bright green brackets, then this is a violation.
Some people also use it to show their relationship availablity. If two people agree to be monogomous to each other, they will turn off their available flag. This means that they are no longer seeking relationship or sexual RP from others, but it does not mean they are breaking any rules as they've already come to an understanding with their roleplay partner.
Those who are in an open relationship, will leave their available flag on, meaning yes, they are in a relationship, but do not mind being approached by others for more.
The point is, if it's on, go for it! If it's not, please respect it and do not attempt any form of relationship roleplay with the person at all.
TG takes sexual harassment seriously, however it is up to you the player to inform the other party that you are uncomfortable with the direction that the roleplay is going, and to tell them no. Harassment is by definition, telling someone no, and they continue to do it anyway. This gives the other person an opportunity to do the right thing first. If they do continue their advances after being told no, or that you are uncomfortable with the direction the roleplay is going then send a copy of the log between you and the other party to admin and we will take care of it. Please use immreq to admin with immreq subject Harassment.
