Below is a list of unique features that The Gathering offers. These are
special additions that have been added for your benefit and pleasure.
* A battleprompt is a unique prompt that will show up only during battle. help battleprompt
* As you do more damage in combat, a surge bar will slowly change from white to yellow. Once it is full, you are ready to execute a surge attack, which is a single, powerful blow that does far more damage than normal. help surge
* Typing craft within the proper Crafting rooms located in Dragondale will allow you to create your own custom equipment. help craft
* This helpfile shows a listing of various commands that are intended to purely support such types of role play in as realistic a fashion as possible in a text based game. help restrain
* Compare compares two objects in your inventory. If both objects are weapons,it will report the one with the better average damage. If both objects arearmor, it will report the one with the better armor class. help compare
* The doorway command allows the user to create a temporary, magical gate through the demiplanes to a target mob, allowing people to traversing vast distances in the blink of an eye. help doorway
* The keepme command is used to prevent an item from being sold or dropped. This is useful to prevent important items from being dropped or sold by accident when doing something such as a 'sell all' or 'drop all' command. help keepme
* RTITLE allows you to change the text that appears after your short description when people look in the room. help rtitle
* The mirror command allows you to look at yourself and see how you appear to others in the same room. help mirror
* In order to build a custom house, you must first purchase a house deed from the Questmaster. help housing
* Many major cities have Questmasters. These individuals offer quests varying from simple assassinations, to retrieving objects, to taking down entire syndicates of NPC's, in exchange for ever-increasing rewards. help questing
* Recall message allows you to set your own custom recall message which replaces the "Soandso prays for transportation." message that normally appears for those in your room. help recall message
* The Recall Arrival command allows you to set a custom message for when you arrive in a room via the 'recall' command. Help recall
* To set the messages that show up when you enter or exit a room, simply change them with walkin and walkout. Instead of simply 'entering' or 'leaving', you can hop, skip, run, sprint, prowl, or whatever else comes to mind. help walkin
* A keyring works much like a normal key would, however, it's used to hold many keys all together. help keyring
* Relics are magical items that have been enchanted with such powerful magics that they have gained almost a life of their own. Relic items tend to be quite powerful, possessing the ability to level up along with their owners. help relics
* Deathcry allows you to cusotomize the message someone sees when they kill you. help deathcry

* Travel runes are to aid you in traveling to places that you find yourself frequently returning to, and to alleviate the need to walk long distances. help runes

* The mood command allows you to set customtalks for individual moods. No more giggling in a bubbly voice when enraged! Help mood
* The conceal command allows you to hide items on your equipment list. This is useful when wanting to hide items that break immersion from your character's in-character equipment, or when hiding intimate apparel. help conceal
* Thinking allows one to ponder their innermost thoughts. Help think
* The petwhistle command allows you to whistle for your pet and have it come to you in almost any location you find yourself in! help petwhistle
* Now with crecall, clan members can recall to their clan hall and leave recall for their main recall of Dragondale. help crecall
* The Hometown command allows you to set your hometown to one of the listed locations once every 24 hours. Once set, the 'recall' command will bring you here rather than Dragondale. help hometown
* The drecall command allows you to recall to Dragondale regardless of where your hometown is set. Help recall
* With shapeshift, changelings and lycanthrope can store their shifted descriptions for easier access. help shapeshift
* Your todo list will help you keep up with information that you need to do, or just to store. help todo
* If you don't know the keyword of an object to manipulate it, you can type inv names or look names and it will show you a keyword for the items preceding what you normally see. help inv-names
* The storage command allows a player to have unlimited storage for their items. help storage
* The quest respawn command allows players to reset the NPC's in an area for the low cost of 50 quest points. Excellent when slaughtering enemies during multiexp! help questing
* Players can earn Divine Tokens (DT's) by roleplaying on The Gathering. DT's can be used to purchase powerful relic weapons and armor. Help DT
* Players have the opportunity to purchase a keep, ship, or shop to design as they see fit. These are purchased with Divine TOkens, and deeds for each can be purchased in Dragondale's Real Estate office. Help player-ship, help player-keep, help player-shop
* The Needimm command allows players to discreetly request immortal assistance. By turning on needimm, immortals are notified that you need assistance, and will contact you to see how they can help. help needimm
* TG offers a number of quest items to enhance your playing and roleplaying experience. A list of these is available in help quest-items
* You can use petname to give your pet a name. You can then use this name and words from the short description to interact. Help petname
