Profiles

Keywords: PROFILE, PROFILES
Category: command
Syntax: profile view <person> profile set <field> The PROFILE command allows you to create a list of information about yourself and your character OOCly so that others may better coordinate and provide each other with the types of RP they prefer. By typing PROFILE itself, you are able to then see a listing of the various fields that you can set, while PROFILE VIEW <PERSON> allows you to look at the profile of your target, including yourself. PROFILE SET <FIELD> will put you into an editor very similar to the one for histories and long descriptions, in which you can put in as much or as little information as you wish for that field. The fields, and their meanings, are as follows: AGE: Your out of character age. This is verification that you are indeed of adult age before any sexual RP begins. ORIENTATION: This is your character's sexual orientation. Also, if you have a preferred role within a sexual RP or anything of that nature, you can note it here as well. DEMEANOR: Your character's basic personality. You don't have to give anything away here, but a basic overview of the character's attitude can help in getting a good match or conflict going. PREFERRED: The types of RP that you like and wish to engage in. For example, if you like action-oriented RPs that involve combat, you could put it here. DISLIKED: The types of RP that you dislike and don't wish to engage in. If romantic RP makes you gag, you can note it here. APPROVABLE: The types of RP that you may or may not engage in, but will need to be asked in an OOC manner beforehand. For example, if you don't want anyone to give your character lasting changes without your express permission, you can note it here.
