Syntax: history
The HISTORY command opens up the text editor, much like for long descriptions, that allows you to input your character's story and/or history. While not visible to other players, it is visible to immortals, and allows them to better create storylines and draw your character into them if necessary. It also is a good place to store your history for future personal reference.
Histories should include just that, the story of your character in the past, before he or she became an adventurer or came to Dragondale. Tell us where he/she grew up, what he/she did during his/her childhood, and so on. This can be as long as you like and you feel is necessary.
Please note that just because Staff does not require your history be approved at letgain does not mean it IS approved. If your history has anything out of the ordinary in it, then please send an immrequest to imm with immrequest subject history approval to confirm that your history is approved.
Unless grandfathered in, your character did not come from another realm, they are not the child of a deity, they do not have special abilties outside of their own race or class. If your history has something out of the ordinary in it, then you need approval for that.
If you ever need to see your own history again, you can see it through the HLOOK command without going back into the editor.
