Dragon Color Types (Part One)

Keywords: DRAGON-TYPES
Dragons are one of, if not the oldest race beside Giants upon Tirradyn. Creatures of great Myth and Legends they are careful to whom they share the secret of being a Dragon with. They must trust you completely and have utter faith in the person they confide in.

Dragons for the sake of safety have the ability to shift into another more human like form. The Dragon will always have this ability as they need a way to fit into society and mingle if wanted or needed with other races. Dragons as one might think are elemental creatures in nature. They are attuned to what is around them. Dragons may be Green, Black, Blue, Purple, Silver, White, Gold and Red. Some variations of colors and shades can be seen but only enough to tell the Dragons apart. The scales are hard and protective adding a degree of safety to the mystical creature.

COLORING of Dragons:

The colors reflect the aspect the Dragon was born with. In humanoid form a dragon may not have tails of any kind, canine or feline ears, wings, scales or be covered in hair. They are a race unto themselves and only have small similarities to some of the other races in game.

Green Dragons:

The Dragons thought of most that connect with Nature and the land masses they reside on and call home. Every shade of green can be seen at times when these Dragons. Protectors of the land they settle within forests, glades and hills.

Shifted humanoid form:

In shifted form these Dragons tend to have hair that varies in shades of the earth such as greens, browns and auburn variations. Their eyes gleam most hues that can be found with a dark green outer ring of the iris. Taking on a soft shimmer in any light the tresses that fall from the heads of these individuals is thick and full. Lithe bodies hold little fat and a toned look. They range in height from no shorter than five foot to about six and a half feet.

Blue Dragons:

Those of the water take on the many hues of blues within their scales. More slender then the others of their kind so that they can move easily within the bouyant liquids of the world. They can be found making homes in lake areas, the seas, rivers and even ponds.

Shifted humanoid form:

While not exact in looks, like all other Dragonkin, they have their own specialness to set them apart. Flowing hair the color of any waters that lay within every water shed in the world. The shades upon these kins locks can range from aquamarine to the dullest of murky water ways. They are fair of skin, some with freckles and have even been seen with what humans call birth marks. Though these marks are simply what sets these individuals apart. One particular 'birth mark' unique to them is found anywhere on their body and is a deep sapphire blue in hue. Their eyes range in color similar to their hair and on rare occasions can be coral hued.

Purple Dragons:

These Dragons are those known more to the dwellers of the Underdark. Their glowing scales give off soft light to the caverns, tunnels and dwellings within the deepest mountains and caverns that they call home. Every hue of purple can be found on these Dragons and the scales that cover them seem to be a bit softer then the others of their kind. They tend to stay within the places they call home and do not spend much time outside in the daylight hours. They will make their way outside once twilight comes and spend time out in the cool night air.

Shifted humanoid form: These kin tend to have purple hair of any shade mixed with greys and silvers at times. Black, violet, grey and silvern eyes that have an eerie tent to them reside within their beautiful visages. Longer nails grow from their finger tips and toes then the others of their kind. Skin the color of the caves, tunnels and mountains they live within cover their humanoid flesh. They tend to be marked with lightly glowing tattoos. The glow seems alive as if they have used the bioluminescent moss somehow in the inking.

Silver Dragons:

These majestic creatures are often found making their lairs close to precious metal mines near mortal cities. They are generally of patient and almost kind demeanor, being one of the dragon types to most likely be found mingling with the mortal races. They find the tasks and problems mortals burden themselves with to be endlessly fascinating, and are curious, almost whimsical in nature.

Humanoid Form:

Silver dragons often have hair resembling that of precious metals, and while it is quite often silver in hue, it can range close to gold or bronze should they wish it. Their expressions are often friendly and approachable, with eyes that are larger than most. Their eyes range almost the spectrum in color, though there is almost always a metallic glimmer to them. Much like the faint silver sheen seen when the light hits them in just the right manner.
