General Physical Description & Biology:
Similar to elves in that they are very lithe, they can be also more be curvy but not too voluptuous. They have vixen ears and when born start with one tail. As they grow they develop more tails. A full blooded kitsune can grow up to nine tails. Kitsune/Demon offspring can grow up to five tails. And Kitsune/Human offspring only have one tail. They resemble anthromorphic foxes with almond shaped eyes, more of a snout at times. Mostly human type hands and feet with paw pads, along with claws that extend from fingers and toes. Covered in a very light fur all over their form.
Basic Personality:
Known as tricksters, poets, artists and a very creative race. They are fun loving, chaotic, and have no sense of right or wrong they way others do. They can be very shy at first but open up quickly when conversation is started. Smart, quick-witted, they find many things humorous. They have a tendency to lean toward the darker sides of neutral but not in ways that mean great harm. It is more for the fun of what will happen and how they can affect people, as well as to see the reactions.
Origin and Lore:
None, know for certain how the Kitsune came to be. It is believed they were a gift from a God to watch over the moon known as Xxyzx. They were not a well known race or even believed to be real. Stories of their cunning tricks were myth to most upon Tirrdayn. When the first of their kind was chosen to become one of the Divine, the race started to show themselves more.
Preferred Habitat:
Most live within the city of Sashinobo upon the Mad Moon, known as Xxyzx. They prefer small villages and towns where they can help each other out and be self sufficient.
Society Structure:
They have a hierarchy, with an Empress as the head of the government. Then the Royals, Nobles, Priests/Priestesses, and commoners.
Special Notes:
When a Kitsune reaches the point of having six tails, they are able to shift into what is called their Fox Demon. It is a fox form that is just slightly larger than a normal fox, with one tail, an otherworldly aura and their magic gathered into a Spark.
