command
Mining is an optional thing here on Tirradyn, but it can be of great help to those who like to make their own equipment. This skill will allow a player to gather materials that are needed to smith Armor, Jewelry and Weapons.
To mine in the game,. one must gain the Mining Skill from a trainer. This skill has a practice maximum for players that do not have the blacksmith subclass. To mine, the player must be holding a pickaxe. These may be purchased at shops around the realms or at the Quest Master.
Once these two things are accomplished, you head out into the world, looking for caves, tunnels, underground areas, and mountains. Different rooms may hold different types of ore, so you may need to move around a bit to find the types of ore that you're looking for. A player may hold a limited number of ores, they may expand this capacity by a x3 factor at the Quest Master by purchasing a Mine Cart.
Syntax:
mine supply - shows your current ore/ingot supply
mine ore - mines the room you're currently in
mine drop <metal> <ore|ingot> - drops a bundle of 2000 ores or ingots
mine drop <gem> - drops a bundle of 10 Gems
mine give - proposes an exchange of ingots for money
mine accept - accepts an exchange of ingots for money
mine refuse - refuses a proposed ingot exchange
Ores found around the world for mining are: Copper, Iron, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Mithril, Adamantine and Goldiron. When mining, the player has a chance to find gemstones. These stones are rare. Some ores are harder to locate than others and require the player to find special locations.
Once you have obtained a substantial amount of ore, you will need to use the smelt command to turn your ore into ingots.
Syntax:
smelt <ore type> - smelt ores into random quantity of ingots
