Quessir Holme

Keywords: QUESSIR-HOLME, QUESSIR_HOLME
Set upon the lands of Agragon, this is a settlement of the Elven Cousins (Quessir Tyssir) or as referred to there as The Vanir Alliance. Representatives of the majority of elven folk live there and are accessible. Signs are plentiful throughout the land with the following as the words read:

It is the intent of the Vanir Alliance that this land remain a peaceful and prosperous one. With this in mind, the Vanir have concluded that the following shall be law of the land. Should one wish to reach a trusted one, send a letter for the Alliance to the Messaging Offices. It is wise to keep in mind that this list cannot and will not cover every situation or issue. In all cases, the Alliance will rule on crimes and punishments and their word is final. Those living within our land are proven to meet the three golden points of purity. They must be pure elven of body, blood and spirit. We wish that differences between elves and past conflict be discussed in civilized debates and not used to start intense arguments or cause conflicts amongst the cousins.

Members of the Vanir Alliance include the following: Princess Chrysanthemum Z'ress who is the representative for the snow and silver elves. Prince Peytah Velahrn holds the position for those of Shikigami lineage. Duchess Samira Keryvian speaks on behalf of the dark-elves. Baroness Lucille Dharasha holds office for the high-elves. Druidess Erensia Gyrah resides as the trusted wood-elf.

Laws of Quessir Holme:

1.)There shall be no tolerance for the practice of shifting or changing ones form.
2.)There shall be no tolerance for physically assaulting anyone on this land.
3.)There shall be no tolerance of theft of property.
4.)There shall be no tolerance of threats to residents.
5.)There shall be no tolerance for taking life from one of ours.
6.)There shall be no tolerance of public acts of intimacy or nudity.
7.)There shall be no tolerance of blood consumption, with the sole exception of the Thorn Quarter.
8.)There shall be no tolerance of physically touching one of ours unless a spoken invitation is given.

The land has an immense defense and security with a wide variety of elven patrols and each representative has their own guardians. There is an astronomy tower of great size to view the sky, day or night, unlike anything in the Realm, of similar use.

The land is so large, it is divided into sections. Southern Quessir Holme hosts an array of shops, restaurants, a lovely Inn, huge library and the Ministry Hall, which include the bank, messenger and Affairs offices. Quite a few homes and offices of Representiatives are located here, as well. At the center of Southern Quessir Holme, called the Circle Center, with the main temple to the west, and there is an entrance to the The Thorn Quarter, below from here.

The Thorn Quarter is the lower depths of the land, and has some shops as well as dwellings and offices for some of the residents. There is also a Temple for those that choose to worship there.

Northern Quessir Holme is more residential, though does host the Vandir Guild, where one can purchase weapons. The State Garden and Northern Wild Woods are situated here. As well as the Estate Land Holdings Office, one can meet Kaisa who tends to the properties, and view a sign, that reads:

The chateau properties are all available for the purchase price of 100,000 gold. There are restrictions to those that may reside within the land of Quessir Holme as residents. Only those of pure elven lineage and appearance may have such a right. Those living within our land are proven to meet the three golden points of purity. They must be pure elven of body, blood and spirit. Half-blood is not allowed. It is our law. To clarify this for the sake of easing confusion, those of former elven appearance who have altered their appearance or base composition are not included among our accepted residents. This also applies to shifters who can change themselves to appear elven. We require all family members who live here to be pure elven, not just one of the family.

This land is the result of a very long ago goal. From before the Quessir Tyssir and the CHESS games began, prior to the Gods War. Following the last game held, many came together from the various elven kin, to finally do as was originally intended, for the land now known as Cormanthor Yastehanye and connected to the Kingdom of Felwithia (as is now called) and the Vandor Parlu forest upon Nersa. One can learn much more through the tome named Historical Lore: The Origin of C.H.E.S.S. - it can be found within the library here, the Scriptorium of Suscitatio Sophus, located upon the grounds of Sacred Serenity Sanctuary and sold by one of the druidesses of Vandor Parlu, Gakissra, though at a rather high cost.

(OOC: Felwithia also has a helpfile to help fill in blanks in history.)
