Keywords: SR-DRACONIAN-BREEDING
Draconian Breeding At one time in their history, Draconians may have been able to interbreed with humans, and possibly, though unlikely and unheard of, dragons. Their myths tell of a dragon and a human who fell in love and were later destroyed. Draconians were their children, and to this day they carry the hatred born from their parents' slaughter. Modern Draconians have diverged so far from both parent races that they can only breed with one another. Draconian gestation is about half that of a human, lasting twenty-two to twenty-three weeks. A Draconian mother may carry a single egg, or rarely a clutch of two. The egg then spends another twenty-two to twenty-three weeks growing before it hatches into a whelp. Draconian whelps are born able to walk and eat solid food. They cannot yet speak or properly defend themselves, though they are often rambunctious and try. They cannot fly until they are older juveniles.
