Draconian Resistances and Vulnerabilities
Draconian scales offer some superficial protection from being cut or stabbed, but they can be a hindrance against piercing weapons. Because the scales overlap like leather, arrows and spears may catch in the flesh, sometimes making wounds worse.
Draconians retain some of their dragon forefather's resistance to the magical elements of fire, cold, lightning, and acid. Their dragon blood also gives them strong constitutions, making poisons and diseases less likely to affect them.
Because they lack lips, Draconians cannot hold their breath for long and avoid being submerged in water. Drowning can come quickly.
Draconians have great appetites and cannot survive long without food or water. Their pride also makes them less likely to give in to fear, if only because of the shame fear would bring.
