WHO
Keywords:
WHO, WHO-STORM, -WHO, IDLE, WHOLIST
Who will bring up the who list, which shows all of the characters online
and some information about them. Depending on the type of character, a
different summary will show up. For immortals, something like this will
appear:
5m[ Sneak ] Trellan Lord of Shadows
'5m' refers to the amount of time that a character has been idle, in this case, five minutes.
'[ Sneak ]' is the immortal's flavor text.
This can refer to the religion that the particular immortal is affiliated with, but not always.
Next is the character's name and title. In this case, the character is
'Trellan', and his title is 'Lord of Shadows'.
Mortals will have a summary looks sorta like this:
7m[100][England Kings Human Warrior] *Hero* King Arthur of the Brits.
'7m' again refers to idle time. In this case, seven minutes.
'[100]' refers to the level of the character. This can be turned off with the 'whodisplay' command and it will show '[---] instead.
'[England]' tells you the religion the character wishes to display on the who list that they are affiliated with. If this shows 'Heretic' then either the person is not associated with a religion, or they choose to hide the info with the whodisplay command.
'[Kings]' tells you the clan/guild they are affiliated with. If this shows 'Loner' then either the person is not associated with a clan/guild or they choose to hide this info with the whodisplay command.
'[Human Warrior]' Shows the character's race and class which can also be hid using the whodisplay command. It would then displace as '[Unknown ---]' in who.
'*Hero*' shows that this character has obtained the maximum level on the game. Only those of level 100 will be able to have this display, but the absence of the tag does not mean that the player is not a Hero.
'King' shows the player's IC Title that they hold, which is settable only by immortals. This cannot be turned on or off by a mortal. An IC Title is something given to players who have an IC position of importance within an organization, such as Lord, Lady, Duke, Duchess, King, Queen, Emporer, Alpha, or something else denoting IC signifigance. If you think that you are eligible for an IC Title, send an immrequest to rp explaining the reason for the given title.
Next is the character's name and title. In this fictional example, the char is named 'Arthur' and 'of the Brits' is his title.
The brackets surrounding immortal flavor text and mortal religion also tells you a bit about the character: Color determines the gender of the character. Cyan is male, magenta is female, green is hermaphrodite, and grey is sexless.
There are two additional flags that players can display on who:
'[I]' and '[RP?]'.
'[I]' means the player has used the 'immerse' command and wants to completely ignore all things OOC related.
'[RP?]' means the player has used the 'seekrp' command and is looking for a roleplay partner.
