Bhamori Military

Keywords: BHAMORI-MILITARY, BHAMORI_MILITARY
Military The Bhamori are composed of four major factions in what the civilized world would call a military. Surprisingly well organized, they rely on speed as well as tactics to surprise and overcome their enemies. Often sweeping over them before their opponents realize their borders have been crossed Wolf Riders The Wolf Riders are the elite Calvary of the Bhamori. While they have the swift and sturdy Steppes horses brought with them from the Northern Wastes, they are most noted and feared for their bond with the great winter wolves of their homeland. Riding them into battle with devastating effect. To date, it is an elite position held by males only. This may be in part due to culture, though rumors persist the Great Wolves themselves choose the bonding, to date only one wolf has yet selected a female. Dog Warriors Dog Warriors are the Foot soldiers, Scouts and mainline Garrison troops of the Bhamori. Highly skilled with sword, spear and buckler, nearly all are also excellent bowman. Females may become a Dog Warrior but such is rare in the extreme and most who try, fail. Spirit Wolves Spirit Wolves are the Shamans and Druids of the Bhamori. Highly respected, these help interpret the will of the Gods and Spirits while also nurturing the Spiritual well-being of the tribe. It is the Spirit Wolves who open most moots with Rituals of peace and wisdom and are the ones to cast blessings and perform rituals upon the opening of the Great Festival. Rune Wardens RuneWardens are the Mystics and Runecasters of the Bhamori. Able to tap into the elemental powers of nature or carve the sacred runes which symbolize some aspect of the true nature of the Universe, their power is unmistakable. Vala'Rukar: Vala'Rukar are the Berserkers of the Bhamori. Small in numbers these hold positions of military honor yet have no real standard or Order among them answering directly to the Council in most cases. Their unbridled ferocity and complete lack of regard for their own lives or safety in combat combined with deadly martial skills make these warriors feared even by other Bhamori. Only the Yamatai have Vala'Rukar women. OOC: Becoming one of the above is not a 'given' and must be earned through RP via trials and participation in globals that will show the players honor and mindset. The alt must also be of mating age (16 or above) before seeking out any of the trials. As the entire tribe concept is Sheylynn's personal character history that she has allowed to be played at the request of others, a firm grasp of the concept is a must to ensure that it remains true. Though I will try not be overly anal about it. >.<
