Blue slimes evolved in areas with a high concentration of water and adapted to live in the water itself instead of n=just nearby. These aquatic slime can live in both freshwater and saltwater. Though is fresh water even freshwater anymore if a slime is living in it?
Appearance: Blue color in looks with Fresh water being a more pure blue while salt water has a lighter blue as the salt in their slime makes me a bit lighter. Unlike other slimes a blue slime is a bit more liquidy thus has slime puddled up around its feet at all times unless matters are taken to keep it contained.
Scent: Blue slimes have one of two scents, those near salt water smell of the oceans breeze while those near fresh water smell more like that found after a fresh rain.
Taste: Blue saltwater slimes taste like a salt water fish similar to tuna while Blue fresh water slimes have a freshwater fishy flavor like that of a Rainbow fish.
Alignment: Blue slimes tend to be more of a neutral alignment leaning more towards good but there are always exceptions.
Personality Quirks: Blue slimes tend to love water and have a dislike of higher temperatures.
Special Diet: Blue slimes cannot heal properly without ingesting the nutrients found within fish.
Advantages: Faster movement in water than other slimes.
Disadvantages: Dehydrates faster than other slimes and requires more water to regenerate equalling an extra half gallon of water per gallon of slime.
Breeding: Blue slimes require the genetic material of aquatic based races to produce a new slime core.
Dormant Core Appearance: A blue pitted gem resembling a sapphire. Cool to the touch.
