The Brumalwulf Tribe

Keywords: BRUMALWULF
History The Brumalwulf are the remanents of the great tribe from which the present day Seven Tribes split. Reknown warriors and raiders, they are known for their warlike ways and aggressive behavior. Perhaps the most xenophobic of all the Seven Tribes, there are many tales of people entering Brumalwulf territory never to be seen again. The smallest of the Seven, they were intensely nomadic for a long time, living in roving warbands, but recently they have come into land to call their own and have moved quickly to make it their home. Government As a tribal society, the Khan is the ultimate authority within the tribe. Aided and advised by other elders of the tribe, it is ultimately the Khan with whom the true weight of decisions rest. Politics Not known to get involved in politics, the Brumalwulf are a straightforward, blunt, and oft times brutal people. Legal System The Bhamori strive to live lives worthy of honor and respect, avoiding that which would bring shame to themselves, or the tribe. Punishment for crimes committed within the tribe can vary from having to defend your honor in the circle of challenges, to being shorn, to death. The decision is made by the tribe's elders and challenges are overseen, and in many cases created, by the Master of Challenges. Ulitimately there is only one law: to live with honor, always. Religion(s) The Brumalwulf honor all the gods, showing deferrance to each, as all are seen as having their place and duties. Education Those younger are taught in an oral tradition, with stories providing moral teachings, while more practical skills are taught by the parents and tribal members as a whole. Commerce They see very little need for trade and can make most of their own goods. Those they cannot, the Brumalwulf are known to raid for, simply taking what they need. They grow their own food, and herbs, or hunt for it. On rare occassions, a trader who deals with more rare herbs that can not grow in their climate will be granted an ear, when a long term deal benefits the tribe more than just taking everything the trader has. Known Alliances The Seven Tribes are aligned with their other tribes. The Brumalwulf also seem to be on friendly terms with Dur'Amon, the Black Cove Pirates, as well as Malaghar.
