Here in The Gathering..., we have many commands that allow you to customize
our character. Many things about your character, from your description to
the way you walk, are completely customizable! Here's a list of commands
that let you do just that, refer to their helpfiles for more information:
Description - Your long description, what people see when they look at you.
Short - The short description that people see whenever you perform an action.
In addition to these messages, you can use the decorate command to create custom looking clothing and pieces of armor, scars, and other things in your equipment list. You can also use the ostatus command to set temporary descriptions.
Pmessage - Shows what all the below are set to.
Title - The text beside your name on the who list.
Rtitle - The text beside your name when people look in the room.
Walkin/walkout - Text that appears when you enter or leave a room.
Ridein/Rideout - Text that appears when you enter or leave a room on a mount.
Deathblow/deathcry - Text that appears when you kill or become killed.
Customtalk - Change the text that appears when you say something.
Setsurge - Set the text that appears when you pull off a surge attack!
Behead - Set the message sent when you behead a mob.
Recall Message - Set the text that appears when you recall.
Recall Arrival - The the message visible when you arrive in a room.
Messageset runic - Sets the message when using a runic stone.
Customtalk can be further customized with the use of moods. These moods can change your custom talk messages based on the current character mood, which is preset and can be changed to easily update all of a character's speech patterns.
