Syntax: deaf
deaf <character>
deaf list
deaf list <character> (immortal only)
Deaf toggles whether you can send and receive IC tells, retells, and
replies. It also blocks distant tocials and temotes. This is useful for RP
when your character cannot or will not use telepathy.
deaf by itself toggles broad deaf mode. While broadly deaf, other players
cannot reach you with IC tells, retells, replies, distant tocials, or distant
temotes. Immortals can still reach you.
deaf <character> toggles whether that specific online player is blocked
from reaching you. They are not told when you deafen or undeafen them. If
they try to reach you, they will only see: You cannot reach them.
deaf list shows the people you have deafened. It does not show people who
have deafened you.
deaf list <character> allows immortals to view who that player has deafened.
OOC tells and otells are not affected by deaf. Immortals cannot be deafened.
